"HaiFive" Events Celebrating the 5th Anniversary of the Toronto-Beijing Route
Together with Heart & Stroke Foundation to ride on the Big Bike on July 25th
After successfully raised more than CAD6 million donation from the "Ride for Heart" event on Don Vally Parkway (DVP) at the end of May, Hainan Airlines is going to join in another signature event "Big Bike" with Heart & Stroke Foundation. The most interesting fund-raising of the summer attracted many entrepreneurs and government officials to register to attend the event, including: Loblaws, IBM, TD Canada Trust, Shoppers Drug Mart, and officials of the Canadian government. More than 60,000 participants from more than 200 communities across whole Canada will join this event.
As the token of the appreciation and to carry out Hainan Airlines' corporate social responsibility, in addition to all the efforts and time in coordinating the event, Hainan Airlines has donated one flight ticket (round trip between Toronto & Beijing) to reward the rider who raises the highest amount of donation, which has become the highest award in Heart & Stroke Foundation's record. This generosity has attracted more people to join the rider to raise more funds. Hopefully, this even will help raise more than CAD8 million for the year.
This Big Bike requires the concerted effort totally 30 riders (a professional rider will be provided by Hainan Airlines to ensure the safety of all guests) to keep running. This event was designed to fully display coherence and teamwork of Hainan Airlines. On July 25, Saturday, Hainan Airlines wants to extend its invitation to all VIPs and welcome you to participate in this "Big Bike" event that starts at Loblaws Markham and continues for 3 kilometers. Let's have a great time in this sunny afternoon on weekend.
During the event, Hainan Airlines will also welcome all community friends & family to take pictures in a huge Polaroid frame named "HaiFive for Fifth Anniversary of Hainan Airlines' Toronto Route" custom-made by Hainan Airlines to celebrate its milestone.
Hainan Airlines will also prepare the refreshment and BBQ for all participants to show our appreciation for the support and attention of all guests!
Event detail:
1. Time: 9:30 am to 3:00 pm, July 25, Saturday.
2. Location: Loblaws Markham, 200 Bullock Drive, Markham, ON L3P 1W2, Canada.
3. Assembling location: Hainan Airlines Booth at Loblaws Markham Plaza.
4. Riding route: Starts from Loblaws Markham and rides for three kilometers along the road.
5. Ride Procedure: After all riders register their attendance, they will do some warming-up led by Hainan Airlines staff before getting on the "Big Bike". After listening to the instructions and rules from the head of the bike, riders ride their bikes to circle around the business circle with police cars driving ahead and behind, and return to the start point after one circle has been completed. Then all get off to enjoy the BBQ and the photo-taking.
6. Register method: This event is by invitation only. VIPs who have received the invitation may reply to confirm that you will be present.
7. Fees: All fees are covered by Toronto Office of Hainan Airlines.
