Product Introduction
Applicable passengers: Chinese students studying in official schools in International, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan regions, as well as foreign students studying in China.
Applicable Routes: Applicable to one-way trips, round trips and open jaw trips between the country of nationality and the country of student registration, as well as between the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong, China / Taiwan, China (e.g., the outbound trip is from Beijing to Seattle, and the inbound trip is from Boston to Shanghai).
Applicable voyages: Hainan Airlines Self-operated Tickets (880 Tickets) with one-way trips, round-trips, and open jaw trips (e.g., departing from Beijing to Brussels and returning from Paris to Shenzhen).

Valid identity documents: When booking tickets, international students must provide their passports and student ID cards or valid international student visas or the copy of admission letters that match the destination. You also need to present the above documents at the time of check-in and pass the verification to enjoy the free baggage allowance for international students.

1. If an international student who has already purchased a regular ticket requests to exchange it for an international student ticket and presents relevant identification documents, he or she will be entitled to all the benefits applicable to international students. However, this change is only available for tickets purchased through Hainan Airlines’official channels for flights operated exclusively by Hainan Airlines. The ticket change can be made at ticketing offices directly affiliated with Hainan Airlines, airport ticketing counters, or by calling the 24-hour Hainan Airlines booking service hotline at 95339 (Outside Chinese Mainland, please call+86-898-95339, International rates apply).
2. When checking in, the passenger must present the international student ID card and other relevant identity documents to the ground service staff. If the passenger does not have or does not hold the international student ID card or the information provided does not match, the passenger must pay the excess baggage fee.
